What we store, why, and how to get rid of it again.

In short

This site stores nothing about you on its own. No analytics, no ad networks, no cookies that recognise you. Something is stored only if you join the waiting list.

If you enter your email address, we store it together with the language you chose and the time. We send you an email with a confirmation link. The entry counts only once you click it; without confirmation we delete it after 14 days.

Purpose: to tell you once, when Wissky launches. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. How long: until launch and at most three months after, or until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe: via the link in every email, at any time and without giving a reason.

We use EMAIL PROVIDER to send those emails. Your address is passed on to that service.

Server logs

Opening the site produces the technical data every web server needs: shortened IP address, time, requested path, browser identification. They serve operation and defence against attacks and are deleted after RETENTION PERIOD.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in secure operation, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Fonts

The Poppins typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google learns your IP address. If you would rather it did not, a content blocker will stop the request; the page stays readable.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Just write to CONTACT ADDRESS.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority; the competent one is SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY.

The Wissky app has its own privacy statement. You will find it in the Play Store and inside the app.
